There wasn't much Parmesan in there. Since most of you don't want semi-melted cheese chunks on your pizza, I've decided to do my taste tests with "young" (minimally aged) cheeses that melt easily.

Cheddar, fontina, Gouda, Jack, mozzarella (both fresh milk and standard), Muenster, provolone, and Swiss raclette are all cut regarding meltability (or just regular Swiss cheese).

In addition, I plan to try out a combination of Parmesan, Asiago, and sharp cheddar that I have prepared to improve its meltability; more on that to come.

Wisconsin brick cheese is another option for a melty pizza topping. But I'll stick to what's readily available at the grocery store.

Moreover, Velveeta and processed American cheese are excellent melting options, but I've eliminated them because I'm interested in cheeses with more personality.
